For almost a thousand years St Marys Church has played its part at the centre of the village of Bampton in Oxfordshire, and today it continues to be a vibrant influence within our local community as well as being a beautiful centrepiece to the village.

St Mary's Quiz Night
This fun evening is in aid of the Roof Appeal and will take place on Saturday 30th June at 7:30pm in Bampton Village Hall. £5 ticket or £20 for a table of 4 (price includes welcome drink and nibbles. Tickets from the Cotton Club, Tessa Kuin Lawton and Claire Rednall.

Ladies Lunch - 29th June - More...

Parish Barbecue
Sunday 15th July at the Pavilion on the Recreation Ground on Buckland Road. Beginning with an open air celebration of Holy Communion (marking the return of Vicar David Lloyd) the day will develop with a fine barbecue, bar, and games! Donations for salads/strawberries welcome!!

Vicar on sabbatical
Revd David Lloyd remains on sabattical until July following his completion of part of the St James' route to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain. Find out more about Compostela here.
